What is GetSetLive Streaming Platform?
GetSetLive is a professional live streaming platform that enables broadcasters, content creators, and enterprises to deliver high-quality video content to audiences worldwide. We support RTMP ingest, HLS delivery, WebRTC playback, and provide a complete suite of tools for stream management.
How do I start streaming on your platform?

Getting started is easy:

  • Sign up for an account and choose your plan
  • Access your dashboard to get your unique RTMP URL and stream key
  • Configure your streaming software (OBS, vMix, Wirecast, etc.) with your credentials
  • Start broadcasting and share your stream link with viewers
What streaming software do you support?
We support any software that can output RTMP streams, including:
  • OBS Studio (free, open-source)
  • Streamlabs Desktop
  • vMix
  • Wirecast
  • XSplit
  • FFmpeg (command-line)
  • Hardware encoders (Teradek, LiveU, etc.)
How do I configure OBS Studio for streaming?

To configure OBS Studio:

  1. Open OBS Studio and go to Settings > Stream
  2. Select "Custom..." as the Service
  3. Enter the RTMP Server URL provided in your dashboard
  4. Enter your unique Stream Key
  5. Go to Settings > Output and set your bitrate (we recommend 4000-6000 Kbps for 1080p)
  6. Click "Start Streaming" when ready
What are the recommended stream settings?

Recommended settings for optimal quality:

  • 720p (HD): 1280x720, 2500-4000 Kbps, 30fps
  • 1080p (Full HD): 1920x1080, 4000-6000 Kbps, 30fps
  • 4K (Ultra HD): 3840x2160, 15000-25000 Kbps, 30fps

Use H.264 video codec and AAC audio codec for best compatibility. Audio bitrate of 128-320 Kbps is recommended.

How do I get my RTMP URL and Stream Key?

After signing up and logging in:

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Navigate to the "Streams" or "Channels" section
  3. Click "Create New Stream" to generate a new stream
  4. Your RTMP URL and Stream Key will be displayed
  5. Copy these credentials to your streaming software

Keep your Stream Key private - anyone with it can stream to your channel.

Can I stream from my mobile device?

Yes! You can stream from mobile devices using apps that support RTMP:

  • iOS: Larix Broadcaster, Streamlabs Mobile
  • Android: Larix Broadcaster, Streamlabs Mobile, Prism Live

Simply enter your RTMP URL and Stream Key in the app settings and start broadcasting.

How long does it take for my stream to go live?

Your stream typically goes live within 10-30 seconds of starting your broadcast. The latency depends on:

  • Your internet connection speed and stability
  • The streaming protocol used (HLS has higher latency than WebRTC)
  • Your encoder settings (keyframe interval, buffer settings)

For the lowest latency, we recommend setting your keyframe interval to 2 seconds in OBS.

What internet speed do I need to stream?

Recommended upload speeds:

  • 720p streaming: 5-10 Mbps upload
  • 1080p streaming: 10-15 Mbps upload
  • 4K streaming: 25-50 Mbps upload

We recommend having at least 50% more upload speed than your streaming bitrate for a stable connection. A wired Ethernet connection is preferred over Wi-Fi for consistent performance.

Can I upload pre-recorded videos to stream?

Yes! We offer video upload and streaming capabilities:

  • Upload videos through our dashboard or API
  • Automatic transcoding to multiple quality levels
  • Schedule videos to stream at specific times
  • Create playlists for continuous playback

Supported formats include MP4, MOV, MKV, and AVI. Maximum file size depends on your plan.

We offer three main plans:
  • Starter (₹999/month) - Perfect for individuals, includes 2 concurrent streams, 720p quality
  • Professional (₹2,555/month) - For growing teams, includes 5 concurrent streams, 1080p quality
  • Enterprise (₹7,555/month) - For large organizations, includes 20 concurrent streams, 4K quality

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, you'll be charged the prorated difference for the remaining billing period. When downgrading, the new rate takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes, we offer a 7-day free trial for new users. You can test all features of the Professional plan without providing payment information. Contact our sales team to get started.

Technical Requirements

What are the recommended stream settings?

For optimal streaming quality, we recommend:

  • 1080p: 4500-6000 kbps, 30-60 fps
  • 720p: 2500-4000 kbps, 30-60 fps
  • 480p: 1000-2000 kbps, 30 fps

Use H.264 video codec and AAC audio codec for best compatibility.

What internet speed do I need to stream?
We recommend having an upload speed at least 1.5x your target bitrate:
  • 720p streaming: Minimum 5 Mbps upload
  • 1080p streaming: Minimum 10 Mbps upload
  • 4K streaming: Minimum 25 Mbps upload

A stable, wired connection is always recommended over WiFi for professional broadcasts.

What is the maximum stream duration?
There is no maximum duration for live streams on our platform. You can stream continuously 24/7 if needed. For extended broadcasts, we recommend monitoring your stream health through the dashboard and having backup internet connectivity.

API & Integration

Do you provide API access?
Yes, we offer comprehensive REST and WebSocket APIs for integrating streaming capabilities into your applications. API plans start at ₹599/month for 10,000 API calls. Our API allows you to:
  • Create and manage streams programmatically
  • Monitor stream health and viewer statistics
  • Receive real-time webhooks for stream events
  • Embed players with custom branding
Can I embed streams on my website?
Yes, you can embed our video player on any website using an iframe or our JavaScript SDK. Professional and Enterprise plans include custom branding options to match your website's design. We provide embed codes in your dashboard for easy integration.
